In my dissertation I concentrate on current possibilities of using information and communication technology in education. Using information and communication technologies in education increase the possibilities of professional knowledge within the lifelong learning in the field of pedagogy profession which is becoming to be a standard.

Electronic support called e-learning2 seems to be the main phenomenon of present especially in distance education. This support leads to a great contribution for education, but it refers to both the importance of student’s and teacher’s computer (information) literacy.

E-learning can be very effectively used for support of presence education too. This combination of presence education with e-learning is called blended learning. Main contribution of blended learning for Universities is in the realization of “combination form” of education.
